Ko’olau Federal Credit Union Supports Veterans and Their Families by Participating In the Veterans Benefits Banking Program

The U.S. Department of Veteran’s Affairs (VA) seeks to provide Veterans with banking options, support, and access to the education necessary for them to achieve greater financial independence, resiliency, and literacy.

Providing banking options for Veterans and other beneficiaries give them secure ways to electronically receive VA benefits, more effectively manage their monetary benefits, and reduce the instances of fraud they experience. Any Veteran or beneficiary who receives federal monetary benefits from the VA and who wishes to receive their benefit payments electronically can participate in the VBBP.

Notary Service

Notary service is free for members. Often, you could just walk in with your documents. However, if you prefer, appointments are available and will assure you service at the time you reserve.

Check Cashing

While shared branching with other financial institutions is not available, membership with us will provide you with check cashing convenience.

Online Banking

On-the-go, traveling, or off island? Access to service is available 24 X 7 with secure online banking. This service enables money movement between accounts and loans, loan payments, balance inquiries, transaction history inquiries, view & print images of cleared checks, advances from an existing personal, home equity or overdraft line of credit, e-alerts, and much more.

Windy Mobile, Our Mobile Banking Service

Windy Mobile provides fast and secure account access from your phone. The application is free and may be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. This service enables balance inquiries, transaction history, funds transfers, bill payer, finding branch locations and ATMs, reviewing business hours and our holiday schedule, and checking on rates. Remote Deposit Capture (deposit by photo of check) is coming soon.

ATMs

Members may access their KFCU savings or checking accounts with our debit or ATM cards. Usage is surcharge-free at Bank of Hawaii ATMs in Hawaii. A $1 credit union fee is waived at certain Bank of Hawaii ATMs on the Windward side of Oahu and at all of our branches.
